Adopt A Trash Trap Program: Walnut Creek Wetland Center
Wake Audubon participates in the Sound Rivers Adopt A Trash Trap program. Our adopted trash trap is located in Little Rock Creek at the Walnut Creek Wetland Park (950 Peterson Street, Raleigh). The Adopt A Trash Trap program is part of the Litter-Free Rivers Program which encourages citizens to protect the health of streams by removing litter, thereby improving water quality for both wildlife and people. Each year we adopt the Little Rock Trash Trap for a month and schedule volunteer cleanups. We look forward to your participation in future cleanups and the positive impact it will have on the environment!
